I started my medical career in India and since 1985 

I have been working as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist both overseas and in Australia.

Prior to my joining St John of God Bendigo Hospital as Gynaecologist in 2017, I was Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Bendigo Health as well as in Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital NSW.

In addition to my professional experience for over 30 years I had academic positions such as Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in University of Delhi, India, and Professor & Head of obstetrics & gynaecology in Fiji School of Medicine, Fiji. In my academic career, I delivered many guest lectures in various international forums, wrote two books, published various peer reviewed scientific papers in international journals.

 

I was supervisor to postgraduate students including trainee Registrars and was examiner of various universities overseas and Royal Australian New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.

My area of  interests encompasses Premalignant gynaecolgical conditions, Adolescent Gynecology, Abnormal uterine bleeding, Polycystic Ovarian Disease, Pelvic floor dysfunction, etc. and laparoscopic surgeries.
